This enables quick and easy communication between parents and coaches, access to text alerts, updating player availability for games/practices and much more.

Please accept the invitation sent by your coach so that you can receive team notifications. Moving forward, this will replace our website based notifications.

College Coaches Consider Parents When Selecting Recruits
by posted 09/03/2018

Everton America is lucky to have coaches currently working in college programs. In a recent club meeting, a couple of things came up.

Colleges are identifying players very early on. Players graduating in 2022! are currently on the radar.

Take a look at what players should be doing at various stages of their High School.

Interesting also to note that at college showcases, not one college coach ever asked what the score was in the games, but it was the parents getting worked up on the side that can only have a negative effect on players going to the college of their choice. This video from the Positive Coaching Alliance talks about the important role that parents have when players are expressing an interest in a school.

Notes can be taken regarding club programs also.

All coaches want to try to create a positive environment, and the parent on the side that becomes critical of their own son / daughter, the team, coach or opposition becomes a red flag for any future recruits.
